Maria Alessandra Rezza graduated with honors in singing from the O. Respighi Conservatory in Latina, where she also earned a diploma in piano with honors, honors, and honorable mention. The chamber and concert repertoire is extensive, with highlights including Strauss's Vier Letze Lieder, Janacek's Glagolitic Mass, Wagner's Wesendonk Lieder, and Beethoven's IX Symphony, performed at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt and the Musikhalle in Hamburg.
Recent engagements include Nabucco at the Politeama Greco in Lecce, the Bayerische Staastoper in Munich, and the Tercas Foundation theater circuit; Macbeth at the Seoul National Opera, the Municipal Theater in Piacenza, and the Staadtheater in Bolzano; Cassandra and Il Trovatore at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania; Macbeth at the Staadtheater in Lübeck; Nabucco again at the Luglio musicale Trapanese and at the Ljubljana Opera; and Norma at the Teatro Coccia in Novara.

She is currently a singing teacher at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. In December 2008 she was awarded the “Giuseppe Verdi” Prize for her career as an ambassador of Verdi singing in the world.
